Mazda R360 Coupe Model KRBB
Following the lead of the Suzulight and the Subaru 360, the Mazda R360 was released in 1960, marking the entry of Toyo Kogyo Co. Ltd. (today’s Mazda) into the minivehicle market. Unlike its predecessors, the car was equipped with advanced mechanisms including a 4-stroke engine and a 2-speed automatic transmission, and its exterior design managed to give the car a sporty look despite the size limitations of a minivehicle. The R360 continued to be produced until 1966, when it was replaced by the Carol.
