☆番外編（クラシック）22年（大正11年）式.モーガン エアロ（U.K./Morgan)

頑丈で単純なバックボーンフレームの先端に、モーターサイクル用のVツインエンジンを取り付けただけのモーガンスリーホィーラーは、まさに大衆のためのスポーツカーとして送り出された。後ろ1輪をチェーン駆動する方式や、スライディングピラー式前輪独立懸架など、構造は極めて簡単で軽量なために運動性能にすぐれ、しかも経済的。ボディは4座席もつくられたが、このエアロのように2座席スポーツタイプが一般的で、1909年から1950年まで基本的に変わらず生産されたのである。

Morgan Aero
The Morgan 3-wheeler, with a V-twin motorcycle engine placed in the front of its simple, solidly built backbone frame, was a sporty vehicle designed for the masses. Equipped with a chain-driven single rear wheel and a sliding-pillar front independent suspension system, the light and nimble 3-wheeler was extremely simple in its construction, and also very affordable. While 4-seat models were also made available, sporty 2-seaters like this Aero were more in demand, which remained in production from 1909 to 1950 without any fundamental design changes.
