“ロードレースという競技の世界で磨かれた技術とノウハウがフィードバックされた“レーサーレプリカ”モデル。水冷・2ストローク・並列2気筒エンジンには、当時のレーストップカテゴリーで活躍していたマシン：YZR500と同じくクランク室リードバルブ吸気方式を採用。さらに、軽量で剛性の高いアルミニウム製のデルタボックスフレーム、前後17インチのホイール、大口径のフローティング・ディスクブレーキなど、レース用車両を髣髴とさせる数々の装備が特徴。実際にモーターサイクルレースを楽しむファン層が、レースに参戦する際に使用するベースマシンとしても活躍した。”

TZR250
This racer replica model benefited from full feedback of technology and know-how honed in the competitive world of road races. The liquid-cooled, 2-stroke, in-line 2-cylinder engine adopted the crank chamber reed valve air intake system from the YZR500. Equipped with a lightweight and highly rigid aluminum Deltabox frame, front/rear 17-inch wheels and large diameter floating disc brakes and numerous other features that bear the image of a true race machine. In fact, it was actually used as a base machine by race fans participating in competitions.
