前年に発売されたDT-1の大ヒットを受け、同様のコンセプト・デザインでシリーズ展開されたトレールモデル。5ポートを採用したパワフルな125ccエンジン、リターン式5段変速機、強靱で軽量なダブルクレードルフレーム、セリアーニ式フロントフォークなど、抜群の走破性でオフロード愛好者の層をさらに拡大した。

This is one of the series of trail models developed with the same basic concept and design of the big hit model DT-1 launched the previous year. With a powerful 5-port, 125cc engine and return type 5-speed transmission mounted on a strong, lightweight double cradle frame with a Ceriani front fork, it had great running performance on a variety of road surfaces that won a new group of off-road riding fans.
