Morris Mini-Minor
This vehicle was designed for the British Motor Corporation (BMC) by their engineer Alec Issigonis based on the fundamental concept of “smaller outside, bigger inside”. Transverse engine, front-wheel drive, two-box styling, and rubber cone suspension of this vehicle were first introduced and considered revolutionary at that time, but now these are staple technologies for compact cars. This vehicle has been well loved by people all around the world for many years since its initial launch. In addition, the “Mini Cooper” model that was jointly developed with the help of John Cooper was a huge success and its excellent handling led to first-place finishes in the Monte Carlo Rally in 1964.
