Jaguar E-Type Roadster
The Jaguar E-Type Roadster was developed to be the vehicle that would carry on the legacy of the Jaguar sports car line-up and be the successor to the Jaguar XK series when it made its spectacular debut at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show. Its combination of beauty, high performance, and competitive pricing made it a hit, especially in the United States.Over 70,000 E-Type vehicles were manufactured over the 15 years. Its signature styling, with a long nose and short rear deck, became a major influence on many other sports cars that followed it. The E-Type had two main body types: an open, two-seat roadster and a coupe.
